Photographer. Richardson spent his adolescence in Hollywood skateboarding and playing in various punk bands. In 1992, he relocated to New York City where he began documenting the East Village art, fashion and music scenes. The photographs explore an unfettered sexuality, which have sparked controversy and inspired a slate of imitators. Terry Richardson’s work has appeared in international magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, i-D, Dazed and Confused, and more. In recent years, he has exhibited his work worldwide.
