Photographer. Bruno Vagnini's approaching to Photography came from his youthness. Vagnini (Italy, 1950) went deep into this technique studiyng the Biennial Photography Course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Montreal. He had the chance to document the John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed-In performance at the end of May 1969 in Montreal. 'Vietnam Today' (1993), 'Salin de Giraud, Terre du Sel' (1997), 'Animassente' (1994-2007), 'People for peace', 'Passaggio a Cuba' (1999) are some of his research and documentation photograph series. His work has been shown in several Italian cities, Montreal, Paris, Quimper, Charleroi.., and his works belongs to private and public collections such as Fototeca della Biblioteca Municipale "A. Panizzi", Reggio Emilia (Italy); Museo Nazionale della Fotografia, Brescia (Italy); CISL Unione Sindacale Territoriale, Reggio Emilia (Italy); Cabinet des Estampes of the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris (France); Ecole Nationale de la Photographie, Arles (France); and Musee pour la Photographie, Charleroi (Belgium). |
