Lives and works in Valencia.
Painter and sculptor. His work has been divided between ceramics, painting, graphic art, drawing, and installation, focusing on the study of industrial architecture and urban planning. He has been an artist in residence in Denmark (Bornholm), the United States (Madison University and Kohler Art Center, Wisconsin; Chico University, California; and Clay Studio, Philadelphia), China, Taiwan (Taipei), Mali (Bamako), and Spain (Sargadelos, Lugo), among other countries. Outside Spain, he has exhibited his work in Mexico, Finland, the United States, Portugal, Austria, Chile, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, England, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, China, Argentina, Ukraine, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, and Taiwan, among other countries. He has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) since 2013 and won the National Prize for Contemporary Creative Ceramics in 2023. His work is included in national and international public collections, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ibiza, the Manises Ceramics Museum, the Alcora Ceramics Museum, the Water Museum in Lisbon, the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraneo (CAM), the Varazdin City Museum in Croatia, the CAI Foundation in Zaragoza, the University of Wisconsin, Casa Africa in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Colegio de España in Paris, Dublin State Art Collection, University of Kocaeli in Turkey, John Michael Arts Center, Santa Maria de Albarracin Foundation, and Antonio Perez Foundation. |
