Writer, publisher, graphic designer, illustrator and art director.
He began his career in 1984 as a comic artist and illustrator
for popular skateboarding and BMX magazines. In the early 90s,
he co-founded Dirt magazine with Spike Jonze and Mark Lewman.
In the mid-1990s he was hired as an art director for Girl Skateboards,
a company co-owned by Jonze. Jenkins has also been heavily involved
in publishing pursuits. He started his own publishing company,
Bend Press in 1995, and has since published two novels and an
assortment of small books and fanzines. His works has been exhibited
en USA, Japan, Australia, Holland and United Kingdon. |
