Jim Houser x Contemporanea
 

American artist Jim Houser has created 'Fusillade', a new limited edition edited by Contemporanea. Release on December 5th. 'Fusillade' is a 5 color screenprint on paper. Each print is unique with additional hand painted arrows.The measure of the print is 40,64 x 40,64 cm (16 x 16") on 45,72 cm paper (18"). This print is painted, signed and numbered by the artists. There are only 50 copies of the edition. Jim Houser (USA, 1973) is a painter currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 1973, USA. He is a painter, installer and skater. Houser's paintings are the system by which he actively catalogs the images and noises which command his attention. His installations act to create a map of the contents of his head over the course of a particular period of time. He is a member of Space 1026 in Philadelphia. Jim has done graphic design work for Toy Machine, Designarium, and Nike. His art has been featured in Strength, Juxtapoz and Tokion Magazines. A book cataloging his life in the arts, called BABEL, was published in 2005 by Gingko Press.

El artista americano Jim Houser ha creado "Fusillade", una nueva edición limitada producida por Contemporánea que se pondrá a la venta el próximo 5 de diciembre. "Fusillade" es una serigrafía a 5 tintas intervenida por el artista. Cada obra es única por la inclusión de flechas pintadas a mano por el autor. La obra tiene unas medidas de 40,64 x 40,64 cm sobre un papel de 45,72 cm, y está limitada tan solo a 50 ejemplares. Está intervenida a mano y firmada y numerada por el autor. Jim Houser (USA, 1973), quien actualmente reside en Philadelphia (EEUU), es pintor, instalador y skater. Es un maestro a la hora de abordar el colorido en sus obras e instalaciones. Este artista autodidacta destila la vida en palabras, imágenes y objetos que luego arroja a las paredes, techos o suelos sin perder su encantador y juguetón ingenio. Es uno de los fundadores del colectivo artístico de Filadelfia Space 1026. Diseña gráficos para Toy Machine, la marca de su amigo Ed Templeton. “Babel” (Gingko Press, 2005) es el libro que cataloga su vida como artista.
